Angry Unanswered: Sybase Central Monitor error connecting to Monitor Server

    Hi.

I'm trying to connect Sybase Central for Windows to a remote server running Sybase ASE 12.5.0.2.

When I try to accesso to the Monitor page on Syb Central, with a double click on one of the items to monitor, I receive these error messages:

[ASE Monitor View] - Can't load <...> resources for code 'IT', using English

(this may be simply a warning)

[ASE Monitor Client Error] - Connect (filter list) error: 1 (Failure) - Details: ** no detailed information available **

[ASE Monitor Client Error] - Connect error: 1 (Failure) - Details: ** no detailed information available **

It seems to me that is not possible to establish a connection between client and server, but I've traced with a sniffer the TDS connection, and there are protocol interchanges of data (connection, login, ecc..).

    Any help will be appreciated.
    Thanks
    Salvatore

Perhaps you may get more detailed information
if you change your Windows default language
to EN (English). You can set it back to IT after
    the test.

In Windows-NT, the default language is configured
thru Control Panel > International Config > Language

    Hi
Thanks for your support, but I've already tried in this way without benefit.

The major problems are the Monitor Client Errors instead of the message related to the IT or US resource, so I'm focalizing on these.
    Thanks
    Salvatore
