I have installed SQL 2000 and have changed the path of where databases are stored after installation.

I have an application that creates SQL databases that is looking for the default root directory of SQL - this is pointing to C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL etc..... This is shown in the server properties window.

Is it possible to change the displayed root directory to where my databvases are actually stored which is D:\SQL Data etc ......

Can anyone pls help ????
