Question Unanswered: DB2 Data to MySQL?

How can I get my DB2 databases on my AS400 to my MySQL Database.

Is there a possibility to create some easy textfiles, csv out of DB2?

Thanks for your answer. My knowledge of DB2 equals zero my MySQL knowledge is pretty good though.

Look at the EXPORT command in the Command Reference on the various way to extract data out af a table.

You can try doing exports as comma delim and import them onto MysQL
by means of the db2 export commands

    Thumbs up

i need to import data from DB2 to other databases like MySql periodically. therefoe i ordered a tool which
    1. tracks changes in the original database (e.g. DB2) and
    2. migrates all changes to the other databases(s) (e.g.) MySql.
    3. finally only changed data is transfered from db2 to mysql.

a really cool tool which will be ready for use in about 1 month.
write a mail if you are interested.
