    Unanswered: case insensitive indexes

I know that indexes can be made case insensitive throughout an entire database, but I haven't been able to figure out how to make a single index case insensitive in a case sensitive database. Does anyone know how to do this or work around my problem in SQL?

    Re: case insensitive indexes

Case sensitivity is controlled by the server, not the database. Whether the server is case sensitive is controlled by the "default sort order".

I don't think an individual index can be case insensitive if the whole server is case sensitive. You certainly can't load an insensitive database into a sensitive server.
