Oh boy, here we go again.

The short answer is the temporary tablespace doesn't need to get cleaned up, the space gets reused. The long answer is http://download-west.oracle.com/docs...block.htm#5697

    Hi Marist89,

I understand the TEMP tablespace gets reuse. However, one of my user has posted a huge request that causes the TEMP table space to extend more than 1 Gbytes. Thus, I do hope to reduce the TEMP tablespcae back to the normal size. Need your help and thanks.
