    Unanswered: Remove duplicate

I import a table which has a lot of duplicate ID. What I
want is to remove all duplicates. So, I set the ID to be
the primary key, however, Access does not let me.

How do I do this ?

    Thanks

    here's a non-code way:

add a new autonumber field to your table

    new query
    add your (modified) table
include the new autonumber field plus your dupeID field
    hit the sigma button
GroupBy the dupeID, First the new autonumber field

    does it help?

There's a 'Find Duplicates Wizard' available when you create a new query. You could use that to delete the duplicates..

Try creating a distinct query first then importing the data, this remove all duplicate data before import.
