Smile Unanswered: Maintaining a log of Errors???

    Hello Everyone,

I have set of stored procedures (in oracle) which are responsible for data migration of data from one schema to another schema [different from the first schema , so alot of data manipulation would be required] , which might involve alot of data inconsistency issues as well, for which i need to maintain a log , so that a presentable report could be generated to the user, of all the errors that have occured.

Could anyone suggest me the best possible solution to this, i was thinking of making a seperate error table and storing all the errors in that table, and after the process is completed, generate a report out of it, is there any other efficient solution to it. Suggestions please.

    Secondly

Sounds like a reasonable approach to me...
