Unanswered: Log reader not automatically starting

We are currently running Several SQL2K, SP2 servers with transactional replication. There are also 3 dbs that have transactional replication so we have 3 log reader agents.

When we restart the MSSQL or MSSQLAgent service one of the three log agents does not start up. It's always the same one.

The agent is set to "Start Automatically when SQL Agent Starts" and is run under sa. The distributor and publisher are on the same server. One difference from the other transactional replication setups is that this one has 2 publications.

I'm stumped so any help would be welcome.

    Thanks in advance

    Alain

Sometimes it's the simplest things that you overlook. The job it self was not enabled.
