    Unanswered: how to disable v$session functionality ?

    Hi All,


    Whenever a client connects to oracle, a row is inserted into v$session object that contains specific information
    of the client. How can I disable this feature ....

    it is one way of learning how a cracking/hacking works on the database ...

    Well, I don't know anything about how such hacking might work, but presumably you can just REVOKE SELECT ON v$session FROM the users/roles?
