Unhappy Unanswered: Urgent: Performance Expert-- cannot start up the server

Currently I'm developping an application on DB2.
It seems that the performance is blocked somewhere.
To analyze where is the bottleneck, I have installed performance expert on the server by the instructions from redbook "DB2 Performance Expert Installation and Customization".

The configuration on the server is Redhat 7.1, DB2 7.2, and JDK 1.3.1.
When I ran "pestart -i db2inst2" from the root shell, the pe server is trying to create tables and so on. But I got a list of error/warning messages as follows,
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
    cannot register signal INT.
    cannot register signal TERM.
    cannot register signal ABRT.
    >tracerouter.level=3
    >going to complete installation
UPDATE COMMAND OPTIONS USING C OFF
DB20000I The UPDATE COMMAND OPTIONS command completed successfully.

UPDATE DBM CFG USING MON_HEAP_SZ 512
SQL10003C There are not enough system resources to process the request.
    The
    request cannot be processed. SQLSTATE=57011

    Error (createTablesAndFill):going to run: pecrttbl.ddl; rc=4
    unable to complete installation; rc=4
PE server stops with error rc=2
cannot initialize tables or register jar file.
java.lang.Exception: unable to complete installation; rc=4
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Do you have any hint what's happening on the server side?

Thanks for your help in advance!

Re: Urgent: Performance Expert-- cannot start up the server

Can you put in a copy of you DBM & DB config. Your overallocating memory somewhere. Do you know how much mermory is on you server. How much swap space is defined? DB2 can allocate up to 1.6 gig for the DBM alone, and the agents then allocate additional memory.
