Unanswered: Return Value in unbound textbox

    Hi,

I want to return a value (from a table) to an unbound textbox based on a value within another textbox on the form (which is bound). I have tried writing something like the following in the unbound textbox:

    =DLookUp("Daily Fee Rate","Rates","RATE ID = " & [Rate ID])

where [rate id] is the bound textbox. Daily Fee Rate is the field value I want to return, Rates is the table where it is located and Rate ID is providing the link. This obviously wrong as I am getting a #Error sign when I run the form.

Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?

    Thanks,

    C.

    Try using:
    Me!Unbound=DLookUp("[Daily Fee Rate]","Rates","[RATE ID] = " & [Rate ID])
