    Unanswered: Database with restricted workgroup

I am working with a database developed by someone who is now long gone. It utilizes restricting users based on a work group. I can't get into it to work on it. I get the message about not having permission to use the database. Is there any way around this?

there is no way around a work group but there is a bit of info that may help. when u make a work group threw the wizard it automatiacly creates an admin user. the user name is admin
now all u have to do is guess the password.....my company is big and it has a standard admin password put on the machines by IT, maybe that will help. There are also Microsoft password grabers on the net (warez sites mostly so becarfull not to go to them at work due to there pornigraphic nature) That software program may be able to extract a password, but i think they actualy remember keys pressed as they are so i dunno if it is worth your time. Hope this helps
