    Question Unanswered: ODBC connectivity problem

I am having trouble setting up an ODBC DSN for my application here.
Running Win2000 and an MS Access .mdb file as our data source, and have set it up as a system DSN in the ODBC panel. When I try to access the DSN (thru Dreamweaver UltraDev4) , I get the following error message:

"Data source name not found, and no default driver specified"

I can set up my page to run with a local DSN connection but it won't work running of the serve like this, and I believe (?) I must use "connect thru a system DSN.

If anyone out there has experience with this and would be willing to help, I would be most appreciative.

You're not seriously in Afghanistan are you??

However, why do you need to connect with a DSN? Using DSN-less connection are faster (at least so I've heared) and easier to use. ->

    Set Conn = Server.CreateObject("ADODB.Connection")
    Conn.Open "Driver={Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb)};Dbq=c:\somepath\mydb.mdb;"
    Set RS = Conn.Execute("SELECT * FROM table")
    Set Conn = nothing
