    Unanswered: PosgreSQL Replication

Has anybody set replication between two PostgreSQL databases before?
I could not find any native support for that functionality in Posgres documentation.
But it is hard to believe that feature is just not there.

Please let me know where I can find some information on this topic.

    Thanks.

Replication is not integrated yet into postgresql - there is a package in contrib/rtree for master - slave replication

Actually, there have been several replication systems for PostgreSQL over the last few years, just no "official" ones.

But, now there is an official replication system, which is available commercially, at http://erserver.com/ (Hint: it comes included with a standard PostgreSQL support package)

And apparently a company called Lanux has developed a PostgreSQL high-availability system, also.

But the PGReplication Project, which is the official open source (free) replication system for PostgreSQL is making good progress.
