    Question Unanswered: insert values rare

    when I execute the following sentence...

    INSERT INTO TABLEREP (IN_ID, VC_NAME) VALUES (1, '>>\eh31cAF$i$')

    ..from the command to center... the result that I obtain is...

    DB21007E End of file reached while reading the command

    as I can correct this problem to manage to insert these values

    My guess is that you have the "Statement Termination Character" set to something in the Tools>Tool Settings (General tab). This mean that you need to terminate the statements with that character. It is usually set to a semicolon (, so your statement should be like:

    Insert into table (col1,col2) values (value1,value2);
