    Question Unanswered: insert values rare

    when I execute the following sentence...

    INSERT INTO TABLEREP (IN_ID, VC_NAME) VALUES (1, '>>\eh31cAF$i$');

    ..from the command to center(version 7.2)... the result that I obtain is...

    DB21007E End of file reached while reading the command

    as I can correct this problem to manage to insert these values

    thanks

    Re: insert values rare

    Hi,

    Try using the double quotes
    at beginning an ending of command line. Try using it in Command Window and get rid of semicolon at the end of command line.

    Sample
    "INSERT INTO TABLEREP (IN_ID, VC_NAME) VALUES (1, '>>\eh31cAF$i$') "
