    How to Give OS authentication to an user on Windows 2000 .I has followed as below .When connecting to database using sqlplus / it gives the below message

    In init.ora
    set
    os_authent_prefix = ops$
    I created a user create user ops$rahul identified externally; after it i login as rahul user and then try sqlplusw / it gives me ORA-01017: Invalid username/password invalid: logon denied. so tell me how can i implement this thing in NT environment.

    Thumbs up

    You can read This to better understand how to create OS authenticated user account in Oracle.

    Your CREATE USER syntax is incorrect.

    Hope that helps,
