Question Unanswered: Automatic creation of multiple charts or graphics

    hi,

at my university all exam marks are stored inside an access db.

now we want to provide graphical reports for each exam (marks distribution) to students.

with approx. 70-100 exams each semester it would be a load of work to do this task manually with excel.

any ideas on how to automate this procedure?

    best regards,

    andreas

Probably the best direction to point you in is for you to invoke the chart wizard on the Insert Menu... choose chart. (You may not have this option available to you depending upon what the initial install for Access was.. you need Microsoft Graph, which you must install through the custom option of the Access install...)

i am aware of manual chart creation. but as i said we have nearly 100 different exams..so a automated processing is needed.

yesterday i visited the microsoft booth at cebit (www.cebit.de) and i was told that a solution can be realized using vb-code.

ahh sorry to be so simplistic... Your post mentioned doing the charts in Excel.. so I was confused about what you were trying to accomplish.
