Unanswered: OLE conversion to SQL 2000

I have an Access 97 db with 1 table in it.
    The table has 2 fields:
1 is a Number data type
2 is an OLE Object. The OLE objects are inserted Word/Excel/Visio docs.

I moved this up to an SQL 2000 server and use an Access front-end.

I used Image datatype (in SQL), open the table (now linked into the Access front-end) and I can't add records. Everything that was moved to the server is there, can be opened, but the add record button is grayed out.

If I change the datatype to anything else, I can add records, but I then cant add the docs (wrong datatype error)

    Any ideas?
