We are migrating from DB2 UDB V7.2 to V8.1 where I am facing this problem .
DB2 8.1 "Application Development"guide section "Creating SQL Procedures" has the following note:-
CALL is an SQL statement in DB2 Version 8. This means that |you can no longer create procedures in any order. The compiler checks |for the existence of invoked procedures at compilation time and raises an |error with SQLCODE -440 if the proced
But this means lots of change for us when we migrate from DB2 7.1 to 8.1. We need to even breakup some of our source code files to enable them to be called in the order of dependency. Can you find out whether any workaround exist to take care of this problem .
Pls help me on this urgently if possible for any of you .
