    Unanswered: only a ethernet device?

    I've got 2 ethernet device on my pgsql server but a want that only eth0 have port 5432 opened.How can i do? I didn't fount something that tell me how!

    why don't you use a firewall??

    This is has nothing todo wioth the databaseserver itself

    If you want to have the Postmaster process listen for requests on a specific ethernet device simply specify the IP address of that ethernet device as VIRTUAL_HOST in your postgresql.conf
    Also make sure you have TCPIP_SOCKET set to TRUE.
    (Documented in Administrators Guide chapter 3.4.4)
