    Unanswered: Access Project and Server Filter

    I am having a strange problem with the Server Filter property of one of my forms.

    In some cases, after I filter my form programmatically the filter remains even after I close the form on its Server Filter property.

    I even have a code to set the Server filter to nothing and it still has the same problem.
    I have used the following codes on the "On CLose" event og my form:

    On CLose:

    Me.FilterOn=False

    I also tested:
    ServerFiilter=" "

    Can anyone help me?

    I'm having the same issue with Access 2002 SP-2. Did you ever find a solution to this?

    Can anyone else provide any help?

    Here is what i do:
    1. On the form's property> data tab set the Server Filter by form to "No"
    2. Filter programatically whne nedded
    3. On close event :
    Me.ServerFilter = ""

    remember to set the Me.ServerFilter to an empty string ("") not a space (" ").

    The intellect is better than desire, for the intellect makes you a king over your destiny, and desire makes you a slave of your destiny.

    Thumbs up Re: Access Project and Server Filter

    For some reason that did not work for me. But it lead me to the answer that did work for me.

    I had to put the Me.ServerFilter = "" in the Form_Load() event.

    Thanks for the help!
