    Unanswered: Driver issue

    Hello all,

Can anyone help me out with the ODBC driver in Client Access. Is there a way to "Just install the ODBC Driver" without the rest. I also have looked at Hit and Connx but there way to expensive for migrating. Or, does anyone know of an alternative that doesn't cost very much. We are using a VB app to extract data from an AS/400 with DAO.

    Thanks, Kal

    hi there Kal,

You may want to have a look to http://www.openlinksw.com
I would recommend the Single Tier ODBC Driver for DB2.

the single tier will require the DB2 client networking installed on the connecting client which would have the driver installed.

You should find this a reasonably priced solutions.
