    Unanswered: Buffer Overflow

    Hello,
I have written a script that returns roughly 1000 rows which consists of first_names and an employee_id. However, each time I run the script, I get an "Bufer Overflow" error and only a portion of the data is outputted. I adjusted the environment settings in SQL*Plus but to no avail. Any thoughts?

I take it you are using DBMS_OUTPUT to write the data? You can set a larger buffer size like this:

SQL> SET SERVEROUTPUT ON SIZE 1000000

1 million bytes is the maximum buffer size, so if your output exceeds that you will have to use a different approach.
