I am replicating data to 2 other SQL 2K Servers. When I add a column to the published table at the publisher I use the sp_repladdcolumn and the stored procedures that control this table (sp_MSins_***, sp_MSupd_***, and sp_MSdel_***) on the subscribers are updated correctly.

Our application allows for the publisher to be switched between the 3 servers.

So my problem is on the original publisher when the one of the orginal subscribers becomes the new publisher. My original publishing server is now a subscriber but these stored procedures did not get updated by the sp_repladdcolumn command because it publishing when the columns where added. Our application runs 24/7 and I'd rather not have to reinitialize the large volume of data in the table just to get the stored procedures updated. Is there anyway around this situation without reinitalizing?
