    Unanswered: Password Column

Is there a way to encrypt data in the database? I have a column that is used for sensitive information and would like to encrypt it. Thanks, Jeremy

There is a package called DBMS_OBFUSCATION_TOOLKIT that serves that purpose, I believe.

I'm new to Managing Oracle and would like to understand how to use this toolkit. I'm currently studying for the first Oracle Exam and it has nothing about that in the Book. Can you help me any further? Thanks, Jeremy

I have no personal experience of DBMS_OBFUSC... , so all I can do is direct you to the documentation here:
