    Angry Unanswered: Setting value of control on subform

    Hi,

    Probably a really simple solution to something driving me mad.

    Got a combo box on a sub form that I want to set to null when button is clicked.

    using Forms!Form1!Form1SubForm1.cboControl = null

    gives error value 438 object does not support this method.

    I think my logic is right as a control on the main form can be set using this command eg Forms!Form1!cboControl = null.

    Thanks to all in advance

    Try Forms!Form1!Form1SubForm1.controls("cboControl").v alue=null
