    Unanswered: What's wrong with this?

    Me.FILE_ATT = "c:\letter2.doc"
    Set objOutlookAttach = .Attachments.add(me.FILE_ATT])

    Object doesn't support this object or method Error.

    But if I do the following, it works:

    Set objOutlookAttach = .Attachments.add("c:\letter2.doc")

    what is file_att?
    is that a vairable? and if so i dont think u need the me.
    and if its a variable where is it declared? is it declared as a string?

    Is the bracket to the right of me.FILE_ATT a typo? Or is it actually in your code?

    after sorting the ] problem, try

    me.FILE_ATT.value for both occurrances
