Hey guys, two questions for y'all. First, which is the best perl software out there? Second, which is the best perl editor out there? Thats all. Thanks.

What do you mean by 'best perl software'? The Perl interpreter/compiler?

If you're on unix, get the sources at CPAN and compile your Perl.
If you're on Mac, get MacPerl.
If you're on win32, get activestate or SiePerl.

What ever you get, it's Perl, which is always the best.

You ask for the best perl editor.

I'd say the best perl editor for you is the one, you know best.

If you like IDEs, get one, there are several out there.
If you want a plain editor, any text editor will do.

Hey man, thanks for replying back. I use either notepad or wordpad for as a perl editor. I got the perl from Activestate which is excellent suitable for Win9x and WinNT/2000/XP.
