Smile Unanswered: Converting Access database to MySQL

Anyone know where I can get hold of a free program that will convert an Access db to MySQL?

You can find a bunch of them with Google. Here's one:

Thanks for the quick response unfortunately that program is the one I have already got and its just the demo, ie it just converts 5 entries of the db not the rest.

Im an extremely poor man atm and cant afford to buy one until the end of the month!! It cant wait that long either!!

Why don't you export from Access then?

1-Create an empty database in MySQL
2-Catalog your MySQL database in ODBC
3-Export from Access, for every Access table, select the table, right-click and select Export then pick ODBC database (Save As Type...) , select ODBC entry you create at step 2 and voila!

Okay, the process is manual but at least there's a cherap way to do it!

    Hope this helps!
