    1. CREATE OR REPLACE DIRECTORY d1 AS 'c:\oracle\tmp';
    2. CREATE OR REPLACE DIRECTORY d1 AS 'c:\oracle\tmp\';
    3. CREATE OR REPLACE DIRECTORY d1 AS 'c:/oracle/tmp';
    4. CREATE OR REPLACE DIRECTORY d1 AS 'c:/oracle/tmp/';

    Hi ligang

    2. CREATE OR REPLACE DIRECTORY d1 AS 'c:\oracle\tmp\'; should work.

    You can DBMS_LOB.FILEEXISTS to test if ORacle can see the file in your directory:

    Good luck!
