Unanswered: Upgrade SQL Server from Standard to Enterprise?

I need to upgrade a SQL Server from Standard Edition to Enterprise Edition to enable some enterprises features such as log shipping.
I have tried upgrading the Standard Edition according to MS help, but some stored procedures that are included in Enterprise Edition are not created. It says it is Enterprises edition just some features are missing.
Therefore I think I have to uninstall SQL and reinstall it as enterprises.
Is there anything else I can do?
If not how can I save the user info, so I can restore that along with the DBs?
    Thanks
    Rob

The best bet is to copy the database using COPY DATABASE WIZARD to another server which will copy all the objects and after you reinstall the EE with all SPs then move DBs from other server.
