Red face Unanswered: Prb: NZ function in DAO queries

    Has anyone seen this before:

I run an SQL query on a AC2K database from excel code using MS DAO 3.6? The query contains the function nz as of the expressions.

It runs fine half of the time and half of the time it says 'Undefined function nz in expression'. I haven't managed to pinpoint what screws it up.

    Any ideas?

I think it's a common problem with Access. I ran into it several times befor (but, only in Access 97). The only safe solution is to use iif() instead of nz().

Does anyone know if Microsoft published anything about this bug?

Any solutions to keep using nz? iif is very slow compared to nz.

    Thank you
