Generally the SYSTEM tablespace is the default.

use 'alter user usr1 default tablespace tblspcname' to change it

I hope I'm guessing correctly about what you are thinking. When you create a schema, a tablespace does not automatically get created for this schema. You have to assign rights to an already exixting tablepace. As such, you can not reasonably assume a default size for an existing tablespace. You have to check the database for what tablespaces exist, how big they are and which users have rights on which tablespaces.

As a rule, do not use system as the default tablespace for any new schemas.

    HTH,
    Patrick
