    Unanswered: See locked objects and SQL statements executed

    Hai friends,

    I am having an lock upon a table.This is being entered in the logfile.
    As per the suggesions i tried incresing the lock list value and maxlock values.

    Initiall my values were:

    Lock list =132 ( increased to 270)

    Maxlock = 66 ( decresed to 5 )

    But when taking the system recomendations for these values the sys tem recomends to change back these values.

    With both the values the lock entries are still occuring.

    I now doubt that this is caused by any application level locks happening to a table.

    Could any one tell me about any system tables like sysbufferpools,to find the sql statements that are being queried and to see any locked objects(as V$sql_area and V$locks in Oracle).

    It would be greatfull if any one could help me out in this.

    Thanks in advance
    micky

    Hi Micky,

    you can trace SQL statements with event monitoring. Read up on

    CREATE EVENT MONITOR ... FOR STATEMENTS ...

    You check for locks using this command:

    db2 get snapshot for locks on <database name>
