Unanswered: SQL work on SQL*plus but not work on ODBC?
Now, I am working on an Oracle 8.1.7 server. I just submit a simple INSERT statement on a table through ODBC. This table will trigger a action to call a series of stored procedures. At some point those stored procedures, an exception has been raised. Thus, error message come out.
However, when I submit the same SQL statement through SQL*plus, it work without hitting any exception in the trigger!!
Do you have any idea about this? Is it caused by the different session information provided between SQL*plus and ODBC?
