Unhappy DB Crashes with Select Stmt

    Select Statement:

    SELECT DISTINCT PERSON_ID, STATUS, NAME, BO_NAME, BO_NAME_DISPLAY, SALES_USER_TYPE,
    BUSINESS_UNIT, TREE_NAME FROM PS_RSF_SUSER_VW WHERE PERSON_ID LIKE '0502%'
ORDER BY PERSON_ID FETCH FIRST 301 ROWS ONLY

Execution of select stmts which are identical will result in a database crash and the instance goes down. The same statement with just the 'LIKE' will be fine! the combination of 'LIKE' & '%' is killing it!

It is very reproducible. The error can be corrected by dropping the table and recreating it. Also can be corrected with REORG utility.

    The tables are with PeopleSoft.

    Thanks
