    Unanswered: Date's in stored proceedure.

Is there a way to pass a date variable to a stored proceedure?

    If so, How?

(What brought this question up was that I have a stored proceedure that insets a date and I want to pass it the sysdate on on command line.)

    Thank you

Sure. Define that in the procedure itself, eg

CREATE OR REPLACE PROCEDURE some_name (p_date DATE)
    IS
    .....

Then pass it as already suggested.

    Hope that helps,
