Unanswered: Urgent - Strange problem with Scheduler

I have configured a MS SQL scheduler to run at midnight, which executes a Stored proceduer. This stored procedure takes current date using getDate function for some purpose.

My problem is that sometimes getDate() function called inside the Stored procedure return correct date(i.e current date), but sometimes it returns old date only(previous date). Why is that? any solution ?.

If I make scheduler to run at 60sec late midnight. It works properly !!!!

    ??????
