    Post Unanswered: Directory Access

VB has 3 objects DriverListBox, DirListBox, and FileListBox that seem to have no equivalent in VBA. Is there an add-in or way of building these objects in Access 2000?

    What do those objects do?

Perhaps what you are looking for is the "Dir" function in VBA?

    Hope this helps,

I suppose that would be helpful wouldn't it. ;-)

Dir() as I have used it, validates that a file exists. I don't know if it can be used to list drives/directories/files.

    1) DriveListBox list all of the drive on the current computer
    2) DirListBox list all of the directories on a specified drive.
    3) FileListBox list all of the files in a specified directory.

Together you can drill down to the file level using a file pattern. i.e. *.jpg

I am looking to preview images before importing them into a record.
