I thought it was high time for me to start learning about VB, OLE, ADODB, and a bunch of other acronyms that seemed like a good idea at the time. Unfortunately, I am running into a problem of getting enough knowledge. There are many articles and examples of how to use various objects (ADODB.Connection, ADODB.Recordset, etc.) in very specific ways, but I was hoping to find a book, web-site, or whatever that would detail what properties, methods, and collections are available on each object along with a description of each. Do any of you other folks have a favorite book, or other references for such things? Are there references for other object sets such as FileSystemObjects? Or, is there a way of listing out each object/property/collection programatically? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.
