Unanswered: How system prompts an error in Access

    Hi everyone!

I am having a problem in Access.
I want that when the required record is not found in the database then the system prompts an error that record not found.

Keep in mind that this question is with respect to MS Access.

in access u can use vba to creat a test. you can say if columname <> 'test' then produce a measage box.

id look up the function mesbox to get its correct syntax. the function dlookup may help to see if the value exhists.
    Regards Jim
