    Unanswered: Remote external user

    Hello,friends!
I would like to authenticate my users by Active Directory.
Through Administration Assistant for Windows,I succesfully created (local OS) user and it can succesfully connect to db only by entering
    conn /@dbname.
Administration Assistant for Windows don't show me option to create remote OS user as database user.
When I created by sqlplus "remote os user" as db user ,and try to connect by
    conn /@dbname
    I always see error
ORA-01004 default username feature not supported; logon denied
Cause: An attempt was made to use automatic logon on a system not supporting this feature.
Action: Provide the complete username and password to log on to Oracle.
Any help will be great thing!

    My env:
    Bill Gates 2000
    Oracle 9.2 Enterprise Edition

    Cool

Make sure you have these parameters REMOTE_OS_AUTHENT, OS_AUTHENT_PREFIX setup in your init.ora file.

    Hope that helps,
