    Angry Unanswered: decimal point of decimal datatype missing

    hi,

    i am using db2 odbc driver 7.01 on Windows XP. if i select a decimal value (e.g. decimal(5,2) value of 0.4) it misses decimal points and is multiplicated by 100 - the odbc driver returns 400 instead of 0.4 (0,4 in my settings if i has 4 decimal digits e.g. decimal(6,4) it returns 40000.

    any experience ?

    solution

    hi,

    solution: PATCH2 (client configuration - service - always use decimal points ... ) has to be set to 15. alternative:

    in db2cli.ini:

    [MYDATASOURCE]
    ....
    PATCH2=15
    ....
