    Unanswered: [IBM][JDBC Driver] CLI0621E Unsupported JDBC Server configuration.

    I tried to use the db2java.zip from the java2 directory under sqllib, but everytime I connecting to the aix my Software dumps and in the jdbc client log the message

    on the server side in the jdbcerr.log the following is written down:

    (Thu Apr 17 12:11:50 2003) pid= 20682 getBufferCount(): Error during recv, einfo= 73 (client IP = 142.88.148.80)
    (Thu Apr 17 12:11:50 2003) pid= 20682 jdbcServiceConnection(): Invalid Request Received., einfo= 0 (client IP = 142.88.148.80)
    (Thu Apr 17 12:11:50 2003) pid= 20682 jdbcSend(): send() error, einfo= 32 (client IP = 142.88.148.80)

    the client I am connecting with logs the following:

    COM.ibm.db2.jdbc.DB2Exception: [IBM][JDBC Driver] CLI0621E Unsupported JDBC Server configuration.

    Any comments are appreciated

    What versions of client and server are you on?

    Cool Mismatch db2java version

    The reason that you have this error is because you have mismatch db2java version. Unzip the db2java.jar and check the COM/ibm/db2/bldlevel the client and server db2java.jar must have the same build version.
