Re: how to install and start db2 in linux?

The last mesage in the thread 'Useful DB2 Stuff' at the top of the listings for DB2, provides links for DB2 on Linux ...

I'm sure you will find it useful ...

    Cheers

Re: how to install and start db2 in linux?

    Hi,

In DB2 v8.1 you need the X-windows capable telnet client to install the DB2 from Windows NT computer! This is for linux on mainframe S/390.

If you have the intel based linux you can install it directly without windows computer.

    Hope this helps,
    Grofaty
