    Unanswered: access help files

My access help will not show topics even though i see them in the list. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Mine will do the same on occasion - usually rebooting will solve the problem. If not then I have to reinstall/repair. This has been a problem with me for both Access 97 and 2k on several different PCs/OS/.

this has worked for me in the past, but it is broken today. maybe it'll come back sometime.

There is nothing elegant about this solution but I copied all of the office *.hlp and *.cnt files to \program files\Microsoft office\office and got help to work. It must be a mapping problem.
