    Unanswered: SQL0204N Problem

    Hi!

    I have problem in updating or inserting records using ADO. When the statement reaches rs.Update these error appear;

    SQLError = [IBM][CLI Driver][DB2/NT]
    SQL0204N "USER1.TEST" is an undefined name.
    SQLSTATE=42704

    Eventhough the schema is the same as the username I got the same result. Even if I explicitly put the schema as "USER1.TEST" in my query for the recordset. Before my program works.

    Thanks.

    Hello Many,

    can you do a manually update on the object ?

    Update USER1.TEST set <columnname>=<value>

    check your priviliges to see if you have the proper rights to update the objects

    what version of DB2 are you using ?

    Hello Marcos,

    I'm using V8.1 of DB2. Using SQL statement works fine but if I use recordset this error appear. I need to use recordset to update the table that is why I can't use SQL statements. The user have all the privileges.

    Thanks

    Manny
