    Unanswered: Executins SP's Remotly

    Hey Guys,

Is There anyway that i can execute sp_'s in a remote server ?

I'd like to create pull subscriptions and I will use sp_addmerge.... but i will execute that from my local server.

Something like openquery... a way that I indicate the name ou IP for the server.

    Tks

Yes you can use LINKED Server concept for OPENQUERY, if not you can use ISQL to execute the SPs. Refer to BOOKS ONLINE for more information.

REMOTE SERVER in SQL2000 lets you add the server name to a SP call.

    SQLPROD.WebDB.sa.spOnTheLinkedServerCall
    Thanks,
