Unanswered: Delete all records from large table

    Hi,

I would like to delete all records from a large table without overflooding the transaction log. I've seen the import trick, but that just doesn't feel to good for this production system.

I wondered if there's a way to delete the first x rows from the table and do the delete in batches this way.

Does anyone have an example for me?

    Thanks.
